Sprint Cellular Discounts for Credit Union Members
I was browsing my local credit union’s website when I saw a banner for discounts on Sprint discount service at CUsaver.com. It advertises:
- 10-15% off wireless plans
- Waived activation and upgrade fees
You can view the discounted plans and phones on the site, which appear to be available to members of any credit union. It would be worth a try so see if the discount may be stackable with other discounts. (But if you have a SERO Plan, the website explicitly states that the discount will not stack with it.) To get the discounts, you must either call them or you entire your phone number and they’ll call you back.
This seems like a great alternative if you can’t get in on a student or employee discount from a major cell carrier.
Finally, if you are willing to sign up for a new two-year contract and phone, check out the Everything Plus Referral Program. Designed for friends of employees, you can use the following information to gain access:
Sprint employee e-mail address: Russ.S.McGuire@Sprint.com
Last 3 digits of employee ID (CID): 383
Side-by-side, the EPRP Plans are all slightly cheaper/better than comparable CUSaver discounted plans. But again, the CUSaver discounts can be applied to existing phone plans.
